Dear Friends, As we now enter into this next lockdown in line with the Governments new guidance, we have had to sadly postpone our gatherings in person. Our worship together therefore will once again only be online. All of our online services can be accessed via the Website, Facebook page and Youtube channel. If you are unable to access our online content then we would love to give you a copy of our ‘spiritual resources for keeping faith aflame at home’ booklet which contains some short orders of services and ways to help you pray and grow in your faith. If you would like a copy of this please do get in touch with the clergy team, both paper and digital copies are available. All though we will once again be largely dispersed we are still one community even though worshipping in different places. "Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all" - 2 Corinthians 4:16-17. I'm constantly astounded at how the apostle Paul keeps things in perspective. He keeps his eyes fixed on Jesus through shipwrecks, beatings, jailing’s, rejection, legal trials and turmoil in the church. As we go into another lockdown, it’s yet another shift in what we can and can't do, yet another change of plans around family, work, friends and our daily routines. But we do not lose heart, Jesus has overcome death, our risen Lord is with us through everything.

We have received updated guidance on how we can run our Annual Parochial Church Meetings. Unfortunately, due to the current lockdown we will not be able to have these meetings in person. Instead we have been advised that they will have to take place online. We are now working on ways that as many people as possible will be able to join. We will send out more details next week. If you have the internet you can keep in touch via email, the website or on Facebook. We have posted this to those who we do not have an email address registered, but if you have an email address that you are happy for us to use do send it to us.
Finally, if you, a friend or neighbour would value a phone call do let me know by telephoning 01845 574742. Also, do let me know if you could volunteer to offer practical help to others, for example collecting shopping or prescriptions. It is important that no-one is forgotten, and we find ways to care for one another.
